Today I received the long awaited Snoop Dogg with coat Funko Pop!

This one is definitely going into the personal collection! With the red hat and glasses and that mic and Snoop Dogg on his knuckles, make this pop a must have!

The Icon Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. or know as Snoop Dogg, is someone I'm pretty sure everyone knows! Born 10/20/1971 in Long Beach, CA. Nicknamed 'Snoopy' by his mother for his love of the character Snoopy from Peanuts. Snoop began rapping as young as sixth grade. He even sang and played the piano at Golgotha Trinity Baptist Church.

As a kid Snoop sold candy, delivered newspapers, and bagged groceries to help his family make ends meet. As a young Snoop he was active in football and choir. In 1992 he was featured on Dr. Dre's single 'Deep Cover' and then on the album "The Chronic" He has since sold over 23 million albums in the US and 35 million worldwide. He even has an American Music Award, Primetime Emmy Award, and 17 nominations at the Grammy Awards.

In 1993 Snoop released 'Doggystyle' which is actually on the back of the Funko box. The iconic red brick wall that is recognized by many. Considering he sold 800,000 copies his first week, debuted #1 on Billboards Charts, then was quadruple platinum in 1994, it's no wonder how iconic that brick wall is.

Just annouced this morning 'Snoop Dogg in Lakers Jersey.' This pop features Snoop in the Lakers blue away jersey and a basketball in his hands. It was a limited edition and has since sold out at Funko.com. There will be 6 total Snoop Dogg pops this year, including the Steelers jersey and the album vinyl.
